Gardens & Organic Kitchen Garden
.
At the heart of the estate, Massillan's gardens and organic kitchen garden embody the philosophy of the place: preserved nature, cultivated with respect, which shapes the Château's identity.
Amidst tree-lined avenues, fragrant garrigue, and a blooming park, each space reflects Massillan’s profound connection to the land and to life. Here, seasonality is felt, breathed, and tasted.
Spanning one hectare cultivated with organic and biodynamic farming, the kitchen garden offers a generous diversity of vegetables, herbs, and edible flowers. Each morning, its bounty inspires the Chef of Le M restaurant, who crafts fresh, intuitive cuisine, true to the rhythm of the seasons. This direct link between the land and the plate is one of the Château’s hallmarks: a vibrant, sincere gastronomy rich in nuances.
Gardens & Vineyards
The Same Respect for Life
Around the kitchen garden, the Château’s gardens stretch out amidst century-old trees, aromatic beds, and the soft light of Provence.
Further afield, on the lands of the Massif d’Uchaux, the vineyards of Domaine de La Guicharde are cultivated according to the same principles of respect for the soil and natural cycles.
Two distinct worlds, united by a shared conviction: to preserve the beauty of the landscapes and to enhance nature’s offerings, with both rigor and humility.
