1. When and how to contact the mediator?
After contacting customer service and in the absence of a satisfactory response within 1 month, the client may contact the Tourism and Travel Mediator, whose contact details and referral procedures are available on their website: www.mtv.travel.
In the event of a dispute between the professional and the consumer, they will endeavor to find an amicable solution. Failing an amicable agreement, the consumer may free of charge contact the consumer mediator affiliated with the professional, within one year from the date of the written complaint addressed to the professional.
The professional is obliged to provide the consumer with the contact details of the organization to which they are affiliated.
2. Telephone Solicitation
According to Article L.223-2 of the Consumer Code:
“When a professional is required to collect telephone data from a consumer,
they must inform the consumer of their right to register on the telephone solicitation opt-out list.”
The client can exercise their right to object to telephone solicitation by registering on Bloctel: https://www.bloctel.gouv.fr.
3. Right of Withdrawal
Article L. 221-28 of the Consumer Code states: “The right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for contracts: (…)12° For the provision of accommodation services, other than residential accommodation, goods transport services, car rental, catering, or leisure activities that must be provided on a specific date or during a specific period; […]”
4. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, the consumer is invited to first seek an amicable solution with the establishment.
Failing an amicable agreement:
